INCORPORATING RESILIENCY CONCEPTS INTO NFPA CODES AND STANDARDS
With the increase in the frequency of disasters, both natural and man-made, many initiatives have been started to provide resiliency for our critical infrastructure and our communities. What is resiliency? What impact does it have on fire protection engineering? What are the roles of NFPA and SFPE in achieving national and global goals for resiliency? Ken will discuss the background and results of a project that developed a Guidance Document for Incorporating Resiliency Concepts into NFPA Codes and Standards.
