The SFPE Hawaii Chapter is the local organization in the state of Hawaii. Our Chapter was initiated in 1980 when a petition was sent to SFPE, and the SFPE Governing Board approved it in 1980.

The objectives of the SFPE Hawaii Chapter are to encourage the exchange of information by members of the Society residing in, working in, or having a professional interest within the chapter boundaries.

The SFPE Hawaii Chapter is a chapter of the Society for Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), the world's oldest and largest organization dedicated to strengthening the fire protection engineers profession and advancing the science of fire protection.
